Nomina helps you keep daily namedays in view across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Finland, and other supported calendars. It combines daily nameday data, contact matching, favorites, reminders, widgets, and an Apple Watch companion into one Apple-platform app.

Before you email
- Check whether the issue is in the main app, a widget, or the Apple Watch companion
- Confirm which countries you have selected in Settings
- Make sure Contacts access is enabled if you expect matched people to appear
- Make sure Notifications permission is enabled if you expect reminders
- If you unlocked Premium, try Restore Purchases inside the app
- If a widget looks stale, open the app once or re-add the widget after major settings changes

Common fixes
Most support requests come down to permissions, selected countries, or system-managed refresh rules.
- Contacts missing: check Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts → Nomina
- Reminders not firing: check Settings → Notifications → Nomina and verify the scheduled time inside the app
- Widgets not refreshing: open the app once, then remove and re-add the widget if the configuration changed
- Favorites missing on another device: confirm iCloud is enabled on both devices and give CloudKit sync a moment to catch up
- Watch surfaces not updating: open the iPhone app and the watch app once so WatchConnectivity can refresh the shared payload
Privacy-first by design
Nomina does not require an account. Contacts stay on-device, name day calendars are bundled with the app, and reminders are scheduled locally. Favorite contact sync uses your own iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit when enabled, not a developer-run backend. Anonymous TelemetryDeck events may be sent to understand feature usage and app quality without building personal profiles.
