How to play Towers

Fill a Latin square with tower heights. The numbers around the edge count the towers you can see.

The rules

  1. One of each height. Every row and column holds the heights 1 up to the board size, once each.
  2. Read the skyline. An edge clue counts the towers visible from that side. A taller tower hides every shorter one behind it.

First moves

  1. A clue of 1 puts the tallest tower in the nearest cell.
  2. On a 4×4 board, a clue of 4 means the line climbs 1, 2, 3, 4 from that side.
