How to play MiniHue
Sudoku played with six colours on a 6×6 grid.
The rules
- Rows and columns. Each holds all six colours, once each.
- Boxes. Each 2×3 box holds all six colours, once each. A box is two rows tall and three columns wide.
First moves
- Work box by box. A box with four colours placed has two cells left and two colours to fit.
- A colour in a row rules out half of every box that row crosses, because boxes are three cells wide.
- Toggle notes mode to pencil in candidate colours before you commit.
