How to play Hue
Sudoku played with nine colours instead of digits.
The rules
- Rows and columns. Each holds all nine colours, once each.
- Boxes. Each 3×3 box holds all nine colours, once each.
First moves
- Find the colour already placed most often. Every copy removes it from a row, column and box, so its remaining cells fall out first.
- A row, column or box with eight colours placed needs the ninth.
- Toggle notes mode to pencil in candidate colours before you commit.
