How to play Binairo

Fill the grid with 0s and 1s, never three alike in a row. Also known as the binary puzzle or Takuzu.

The rules

  1. Balance. Each row and column holds equally many 0s and 1s.
  2. No triples. No row or column has three identical values side by side.
  3. No twins. Once the grid is full, no two rows are identical and no two columns are.

First moves

  1. Two identical values side by side force the opposite value at both ends.
  2. Two identical values with one gap between them force the opposite value into the gap.
  3. When a line holds half its cells as one value, every remaining cell is the other.
